Nigeria women football league side Rivers Angels forward, Alice Ogebe, says she is joining a special club after completing her move to Real Betis Feminas in the Spanish Primera Iberdrola.
The former Delta Queens attacker was one of the Nigeria Women Premier League players that made it to the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France earlier this year.
In an exclusive chat with thenwfl.com, the former ZFK Crevena Zvezda of Serbia forward couldn’t hide her feelings as she told the league’s website how happy she is to have joined a special club like Real Betis.
“Its a pleasure playing for a special club like Real Betis. I think the most important thing is the history and size of the club. Joining from the biggest club in Nigeria to another special club in Spain is a dream come true.
“I am looking forward to playing for the team as soon as possible and exhibit my talent to help my team more.”
The Rivers Angels forward will now look to follow in the footsteps of her compatriots who have joined the Spanish top league earlier
