CD Tacon had a rough start going into their first Liga Iberdrola matchup, falling 9-1 to rivals FC Barcelona in the first ever Women’s Clasico in Spanish football.
The new Real Madrid Femenino had a massive bounce-back performance on Match-day 2 of Spanish Primera Iberdrola, defeating Sporting Huelva 3-0 behind another sensational display from Swedish right winger Sofia Jakobsson.
Ghana Black Queens striker Princella Adubea was introduced into the game in 75th minute for the second time in the season. She came on as a substitute last weekend against Athetico Madrid at home. The prolific striker could do little to help her side, she saw 15 minutes of the action as her team went down to a 3:0 defeat.
Adubea’s Huelva lies at the bottom of the league table after two straight defeats in the Primera Iberdrola. El Sporting Club de Huelva lost their opening game at home to last season’s champions Atlético de Madrid Femenino by a goal to nil.
Sporting Club de Huelva will take on Sevilla FC Femenino in their third game on September 22, at the Ciudad Deportiva El Conquero.Primer
