Paul Pogba’s time at Man Utd runs until June 2022. The Red Devils are trying to persuade him to renew because, otherwise, they risk losing him for nothing. He is one of the star players to become a free agent in 2022.
Real Madrid are keeping a very close eye on his future. Pogba has been liked as a possible reinforcement in midfield for some time.
In England, they are saying that Real Madrid’s interest in Pogba has not disappeared, far from it. In fact, they have got a plan to get hold of his services.
According to journalist Duncan Castles on ‘The Transfer Window’, Real Madrid are planning to sign Pogba in 2022. “As far as I knew, there is no firm commitment that he will sign, but he has been told that if he wants to have a place at the Bernabeu, the way he could achieve it would be waiting for a year and then signing him,” the source says.
What Real Madrid are clear on is that Pogba can forget about playing for Real Madrid this summer. The priority, this source says, is to sign PSG striker Mbappe. The rest can wait.
