It is the dawn of a new morn in Ghana Football. For the Women’s game, the players patiently yearn to finally match onto the pitch. The season commences on January 17, 2020.
As part of its branding scope for the season, Samaria Ladies have outdoored a new logo.
Speaking on the concept behind the new logo, manager for the club Anas Seidu Thunder intimated, “we wanted a logo that represented where we are as a football club so we’re basically saying girls love football too.”
Meanwhile, Anas Seidu Thunder has also outlined the club’s target for the season. “The club will start the season very well and we’ll certainly make an impact at the end,” he stated.
The club plays its first game against 3 time champions of the National Women’s League, Hasaacas Ladies and finish the first round at home against Police Ladies.
The Accra based team was established in 2010 by Apostle Sammy Adamaley.
