Rose Yeboah of the University of Cape Coast tore the GUSA high jump record into shreds at the Legon stadium yesterday, clearing the bar at 1.85m.
Yeboah, clinched gold for Ghana in last year’s African Games staged in Rabat, Morocco and added another gold medal to her growing repertoire.
She cleared the 2-year standing record set by Abigail Kwarteng of the University of Education, Winneba which stood at 1.70m.
She cleared the bar at 1.85m which ultimately erased her previous personal best of 1.80m.
