Safari Rally Kenya – picture special – WRC

We’ve made a selection of images courtesy of the stunning sharpshooters from @World Photography and Jaanus Ree at Red Bull Media House, who sniffed out the best locations from their African adventure.

The headline image above shows Thierry Neuville in Saturday’s Sleeping Warrior test. The name comes from the hill surrounding the stage that resembles a Masai Warrior lying down. The story is that when the warrior awakens, the end of the world is nigh.

Several competitors thought that prophecy had come to pass when rain transformed the roads there from a dust bowl into a muddy mess that many likened to driving on ice.
