Prolific center forward Ernestina Tetteh opens up on her injury situation and readiness of Halifax Ladies ahead of the Normalization Committee’s Special Competition.

Tetteh, formerly of Inter Royals was a member of the victorious Black Queens side that claimed the maiden WAFU tournament in neighboring Cote D’Ivoire last year.

Speaking to NB Sports with regards to her current injury situation she said,

“I have a minor injury which prevented me from training today. But hopefully, I will resume full scale training on Wednesday”

She added,

“We are preparing feverishly for the Special Competition. We are doing everything possible to win this competition.”

The copious striker who racked up 5 goals, 3 assists and 2 MVP awards in the truncated National Women’s League is targeting another fruitful campaign in the looming competition.

“I have to score more goals for the team. We will make sure we do everything possible to claim victory in our first game against Police Ladies because it is very important for us.”

The Accra-based side will square off in Group D with Police Ladies, Immigration Ladies, and Samaria Ladies.
