Shine Agbomadzie: Women’s game needs more support

Sea Lions defender Blessing Shine Agbomadzie does not think women’s football in the country gets the supports it deserves.

But the Black Princesses player admits there has been some improvement in the past few years.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Alpha Radio, the former Kumasi Sports Academy player pleaded with government and stakeholders to invest in women’s football.

“I will plead to the government and the stakeholders to help Women’s football and the players most especially,” Agbomadzie revealed.

”We all play on the same field, same ball with same duration so it will be good for the government to concentrate on  the female footballers too.”

Agbomadzie was part of the Ghana U20 squad that competed in the 2018 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
