‘So good’: England international raves about Tottenham speedster he is ‘so happy’ for – HITC – Football, Gaming, Movies, TV, Music

Eric Dier has claimed that Son Heung-min’s workrate for Tottenham Hotspur is just ‘so good’, as he told the club’s official website.

Over the weekend, Son ended all talk about his form and lack of goals this season when he scored a stunning hat-trick during Tottenham’s 6-2 win over Leicester City.

It was a devastating answer to the critics from Son and Dier shared that it has been ‘difficult’ for the player of late and he is now ‘so happy’ that his popular teammate is now back to his best.

Form is temporary and class is permanent, and in truth, Son’s slow start and now return to form couldn’t have come at a better time.

On one hand, his slow start didn’t hurt Spurs that much because they are still unbeaten in the Premier League, whilst Son is now back to his best with Arsenal around the corner.

Nonetheless, Dier, who is one of the more senior players in the dressing room, shared what Son has been like around the training ground during his poor run.

“I don’t like someone’s form to affect who they are as a person; they are two very different things,” said Dier. “If things aren’t going well in your profession, something you love, it’s normal that you get down about it but, if you are a good person like Sonny is, that doesn’t change because he’s been having a difficult time.

“We’ve all been supporting him. We all want the best for him and, not just him, but for everyone. We want the best for all of our teammates and people have been talking a lot about him recently, so we’re all pleased he’s come back with a hat-trick.

“We are all so happy for him. It’s been a difficult start to the season. He lives for scoring goals and it’s no secret that it’s tough when he doesn’t. That’s normal. His work rate is consistently so good, it just hasn’t fallen for him, but he’s come back in a fantastic way.

“That’s what we need from the whole squad – players to come in and help us. Whoever it is, to come in and impact the team in a positive way. We need everyone with the schedule we have to have that mindset, and Sonny was a great example of that.”

SON, KANE AND WHO ELSE?

Harry Kane and Son are now the obvious starters for Tottenham’s short trip to Arsenal after the international break, it’s just a case of who joins them in that fearsome forward line.

Dejan Kulusevski has previous in the north London derby and has been part of the front three since January, but there is a certain Richarlison around the corner.

The Brazil star is made for games like this, not just because of his goalscoring threat, but his character and how he can rile up the opposition.

Well, given that Spurs are going to play away from home, then they might need a bit of that, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him getting the nod.
