Manchester United trio Jadon Sancho, Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire have been named in the WhoScored team of the Euro 2020 quarter-finals.
The last eight threw up some belting games of football as Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, Czech Republic, England and Ukraine battled it out for a place in the last four at Wembley next week.
David De Gea was an unused substitute as Spain managed to progress via a penalty shootout, but three of United’s four other performers in the tournament were key to England’s 4-0 win over Ukraine and have been named in the team of the round as a result.
Sancho, who agreed to join the Red Devils this week in a £73 million deal from Borussia Dortmund, earned his first start after just six minutes of action prior to the game, performing admirably on the right wing.
