Coach of the Harambee Starlets of Kenya David OUMA has made two changes ahead of the 2020 Summer Olympic Games CAF women’s qualifier match against Ghana.
The Harambee Starlets held the Black Queens of Ghana to a goalless draw in the first leg.
Kenya beat Malawi 5-3 on aggregate in the second round while Ghana kept clean sheets in both legs against Gabon by recording a 5-0 aggregate.
To keep the home side in the game, Coach Ouma David has replaced Bundi Janet and Airo Mercy with left winger Jentrix Shikangwa of Wiyeta Girls and Vihiga Queens right winger Cynthia Shilwatso with Kisumu All Starlets forward Mercy Airo and Eldoret Falcons forward Janet Bundi to sharpen his attacking force.
The Harambee Starlets beat Malawi 3-0 at home and 5-3 on aggregate in the second round to book a date with Ghana. The winner of this round moves to the 4th round for the next Qualifiers to play against either Zambia or Botswana.
Meanwhile the Senior National Women’s football team of Kenya are yet to make an appearance at the Olympic Games.
