David Ouma Coach of the Harambee Starlets of Kenya has named the provisional squad ahead of their Olympics qualifier against the Black Queens of Ghana. Coach Ouma has handed debut call ups to goalkeepers Phiona Awino and Monica Odato of Thika Queens and Wadadia respectively.

As forward Elizabeth Katungwa makes a comeback. Kenya beat Malawi 5-3 on aggregate in the second round while Ghana kept clean sheets in both legs against Gabon by recording a 5-0 aggregate. The third round of qualifiers will be honored on Monday October 4, 2019 in Ghana for the first leg.

Then Kenya will play host to the Black Queens on Friday October 12, 2019. The last time the two sides met was in November last year at the MISC Kasarani. Ghana the then host of AWCON 2018 were held to a 1-1 draw. The winner of this round moves to the 4th round for the next Qualifiers.
