Black Queens and Rayo Vallecano attacker Priscilla Okyere is upbeat ahead of Ghana’s double-header against Gabon in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games qualifiers.
Ghana will square off against their counterparts in Libreville on Wednesday August 28 in the first leg before honouring the return leg at the Cape Coast Sports stadium on September 3.
In an exclusive interview with online portal NBSportslive, the striker said:
“Yes, because I am addicted to victory. And I am confident we will bring victory [to Ghana] because I know that we have put in place to ensure the win [against Gabon].”
Quizzed on the quality of players in the camp of the Queens she said:
“Looking at the players in camp and the 18-man squad we are travelling with.
“I believe we have a very good team and the only thing we need is unity – which we have.
“I can’t say we are in short of quality but we are have to tackle every game at a time.” she ended.
The Queens will jet off to Libreville today to square off against Gabon in the first leg of the qualifiers.
