Referee Juliet Appiah led a team of Ghanaian officials who officiated Nigeria’s Super Falcons 1-1 draw against Cote D’ivoire in the Tokyo 2020 qualifier.
Center Referee Juliet Appiah was flanked by; Darko Doris Essuman, Assistant 1, Chakule Alice assistant line 2 and Appiah Joyce fourth official in the crucial qualifier which saw the Ivorians qualify on away goal rule.
The two had ended the first leg on a scoreless draw over and the return leg at the Agege stadium in Nigeria also ending 1-1 to the advantage of the Ivorians.
The Ghanaians handle proceedings at the Agege Stadium as the African champions bow out of the qualifying race after a 1-1 draw to their neighbouring rivals on the away goal rule.
It is the first of four matches played in the ongoing qualifiers in which a Ghanaian officials have been involved in.
