Dauntless head coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo believes her side is fortified to square off against Police Ladies on Sunday.

Despite losing twice to Police Ladies, trainer, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo is undaunted going in to matchday one of the soon-to-start competition.

Ahead of Saturday’s game head coach of the club Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo spoke to NB Sports:

“Nobody goes to war with a defeated mindset. We (Halifax Ladies and Police Ladies) are all going to play out for the win.

“Police Ladies is coming with the confidence to win and we (Halifax Ladies) are also going there to win. So the better side will prove herself on the field” she concluded.

Before playing Police Ladies, coach Tagoe-Quarcoo will test the readiness of her side against Fire Service Ladies at the Fire Service Training School on Tuesday at 7.00am.
