Football in Germany has been halted ‘indefinitely’ due to the coronavirus crisis, and while hopes remain to resume the season by June 30, speculation around potential transfer for the 2020-21 season remains in full swing
Swedish international Hanna Glas will switch to FC Bayern Frauen next season. The 26-year-old defender has been under contract with Paris Saint Germain since 2018 and has now signed in Munich until 2023.
Jens Scheuer, head coach of FC Bayern Frauen, is looking forward to the new signing: “Hanna is an internationally experienced player who has shown in recent years that she plays at the highest European level. We are pleased that we have been able to convince you of our concept. With her experience in the optimal football age, she is an asset to us and I am looking forward to a very strong full-back, ”said Scheuer about the Swede.
Glas is generally convinced by FC Bayern: “Bayern is the best football club in Germany and one of the largest in the world. Every football fan knows Bayern Munich. The women’s team was very close to reaching the Champions League final last season. No matter in which competition: FC Bayern always plays for titles and I see the club here as the emerging power in German and international football, ”said Glas about FCB.
