Head coach of Ampem Darkoa who doubles as the assistant manager of the Black Queens, Joel Nana Adarkwa claims Nyan-maim Academy is better than all the clubs in the National Women’s League.

Coach Adarkwa in conjunction with the rest of the technical team have supervised the Black Queens in three preparatory games. With Ghana claiming two wins and suffering a loss against Nyan-maim Academy.

According to the Ampem Darkoa gaffer, the academy boys are better than all the clubs in the National Women’s League. He made this revelation to NBSportslive in an interview after their 17-0 landslide victory against Blessed Ladies.

“I agree we have to play against the top sides in the Women’s League but the Academy boys we played against last week are better than all the teams in the National Women’s League.

“Because, they really gave us a good run for our money. And after the game, the ladies slept well.

“But I believe if we continue to play against such opposition, [Nyan-maim Academy] it will be better.”

Ghana will begin their quest for back-to-back glory in the sub-regional competition against Senegal on May 8.
