President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko spoke about the decisions made at the regular meeting of the Executive Committee held on Monday, May 18, 2020.
One of the main issues on the agenda was the development of women’s football.
The increase in the number of UPL member clubs to 16, the transformation of the youth team championship and the real revolution in women’s football from the 2021/2022 season are the main results of the meeting.
”But everything is in order.I am grateful to the members of the Executive Committee for supporting the proposal to hold the XXIII Congress of the UAF in Lviv on June 7,” he said.
”We continue to expand the geography of field meetings of the Supreme Governing Body of the Association and for the first time in the history of the meeting, it will be held in western Ukraine on the same day, in Lviv as it has been planned to hold the last friendly match of the main team of Ukraine before Euro-2020.”
