The Black Queens snailing preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games qualifier against Gabon has come up again as the team is yet to open camp for the August 26 encounter.
Ghana had a bye in the opening round of qualifiers whilst Gabon emerged as the victors against DR Congo to set up a tie against the Ghana.
The Queens which failed to glitter in the 2018 Total African Women Cup Of Nations (AWCON) hosted by Ghana last year would be seeking to redeem their image by qualifying to the Olympics Games next year, but there’s doubt surrounding that whiles the team is yet to open camp with less than a month to the tournament.
With some few weeks to the match, there is still uncertainty as to when the WAFU bronze winning team would commence preparation to meet Gabon next month.
The winner of Ghana and Gabon game will meet winner of Kenya and Zimbabwe in the next round of the Olympics Games qualifier.
