Black Queens trainer, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo is pleased with the scoreline after her side’s scoreless draw with Cote D’Ivoire this afternoon at the Robert Champroux stadium.

The Queens were in search of a third successive win but the Ivorians proved a tough nut to crack.

The game had to be paused due to heavy downpour after 65 minutes affecting the quality of the pitch and visibility on the field.

Speaking to NBSportslive after her side’s 0-0 draw, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo said,

“Generally, I think my girls did very well looking at the conditions under which we played.

“Playing on such a soggy field and poor visibility I think we did very well. And I’m very much happy with the scoreline considering what happened in the game”

Despite the draw Ghana remains unbeaten in the ongoing WAFU competition and maintaining three clean sheets after the group stage.
