Deputy Ambassador Emmanuel Antwi led a delegation from the Ghanaian embassy in Cote D’Ivoire to present assorted items to the Black Queens today.
The same delegation paid a courtesy call to the Black Queens yesterday as they prepared for the Togo match and they proceeded to watch the game at the Parc de Sports stadium.
It appears the delegation were impressed by the Queens’ unerring performance against Togo and thus presented the team with assorted items today.
The delegation comprised of Deputy Ambassador Emmanuel Antwi, Counsellor Mr. Laary Bimi and Madam Grace Baah-Konadu (First Secretary/Consular) were at the team’s hotel.
Ghana became the first nation to qualify for the semi finals after thrashing cross-town rivals Togo 6-0.
