In an interview with NBSportslive, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo claims the rivalry between the two nations is akin to Hearts vs Kotoko.
“They are a good side. I won’t take anything away from Nigeria. Ghana meeting Nigeria is like back home Hearts and Kotoko, any team that gets a good day will win.”
“But I believe we have the chance to win because we are the defending champions.”
Coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo will look to map out a strategy to beat the free scoring Super Falcons in the mouthwatering semi final match at the Parc de Sports stadium at 6pm this evening.
