Head Coach of the female senior national team, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo is upbeat about the chances of her side ahead of their top-of-the-table decider this afternoon.

Both teams have been lethal in front of goal scoring eight goals (Ghana) and nine goals (Cote D’Ivoire) without conceding in two games.

It will be recalled that the Black Queens defeated the host in last year’s final and coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo smells revenge from her opponents but intimates her side is ready for the challenge.

“We believe they will not leave any stone unturned. We’ve beaten them once and they will like to retaliate or revenge. And to them this is the time for revenge.

“Believe you-me, my girls are not ready to put us to shame, we are ready. The girls are also ready and I believe today the pitch will tell [determine the winner], she told the media.

Both sides have secured qualification but a win for any of the sides at the Robert Champroux stadium will secure top spot in Group A.
