Hasaacas Ladies player Evelyn Badu is upbeat about the chances of her side and believes Hasaacas are ready for the Normalisation committee’s Special competition. The giants from the west thrashed Hasport Ladies yesterday in their final dress rehearsal ahead of their impending game against Lady Strikers.
Evelyn Badu contributed her quota with a goal to her team’s resounding victory in the friendly game yesterday. Despite resuming camp two weeks ago, the Bompeh Park club won convincingly and goal scorer Evelyn Badu expressed her opinion on the game.
“We have not being training for the past 5 – 6 months. Apparently, we resumed camp two weeks ago.m “There are a lot of experienced faces in the team such as Janet Egyir and many more, so we tried our best to do something positive for the team”
She added, her team is armed and ready to face Lady Strikers.
“We are ready for the game against Lady Strikers, although some of the players are not here (with us in camp), they will join us latest Friday to train together. “I think we will do something positive on Saturday.”
Next up for Evelyn and her colleagues will be an away fixture to Lady Strikers in their first group game of the soon-to-start competition.
