Despite winning all two games of the Women’s League, Head coach Nana Joe Adarkwah is adamant his team, Ampem Darkoa are still in the building process.
The Brong Ahafo based team has had a 100% home record with an enviable 6 points lead.
Speaking to the media after thrashing Northern Ladies 3-0, the trainer still believes there are a lot more work to be done to determine the strength of the team.
“In coaching, when you lose players, you consider the kind of players readily available then you develop a strategy to get a good result. That’s exactly what my technical team and I have done.
I must admit, the team is not strong yet, we have just played two home matches, we will travel away and the strength of the team will be determined after our away performances. So I’m sure with time, things will go well for us”
The coach was confident with the performance of Ophelia and other players who are on top form can get the nation loads of talent.
“Ophelia is gradually playing well and can easily fill in the shoes of Princilla Adubea.
Every one saw her during the NC Special Competition and she has even developed more than the past games under the NC tournament.
Ghana has a future with talented Women footballers. We should expect more from Ophelia and others in the game. He concluded.
