WPL – Coach Adarkwa fumes at Ampem Darkoa draw

Head coach of Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Joe Adarkwah dreams of winning against their rivals, Fabulous Ladies was left in a ditch as both sides settled for a draw on day 3 of the Women’s Premier League.

A not too happy coach after the game asserted that, lack of concentration caused his team to draw with Fabulous Ladies.

“Yes, I’m very disappointed, I’m not saying our opponent was not good, we did everything to take the lead in the first half, but lack of concentration affected my team. Looking at how the equaliser came, it was just one pass from our opponent that caused our defenders to concede such a goal”

Nana Joe Adarkwah admitted to having a poor organization in defence, citing that as one reason for the disappointing draw

“The team organisation was poor on the field of play, we had a goal keeper, a captain who were all at the back and could have controlled the defense but allowed just a pass to beat them for the equaliser”

Despite the draw, Joe Adarkwah talks about going back to the drawing board to make amends and come back stronger in their subsequent matches.

“We will go and correct all our mistakes and see what happens in our next game”

Ampem Darkoa will stay at home and welcome Prisons Ladies which becomes the top liner of Match Day 4 of the Women’s League.
