The NASCO player of the month award for February is on as 5 players who have been outstanding in the month of February has been nominated.

Players nominated includes Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah (Ampem Darkoa Ladies), Milot Abena Pokuaa (Hasaacas Ladies), Doris Boaduwaa (Hasaacas Ladies), Rahama jafar (Northern Ladies) and Helena Obeng (prisons Ladies)

The award is aimed at motivating individual players to perform better for the various teams, Hasaacas ladies has the highest nominee with two players.

Below is the player stats from each of the nominees:

Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah (Ampem Darkoa Ladies)

She leads the scorers’ chart so far with 10 goals in six games.
The first player to have scored a hat-trick this season
She has also won the Best Player on two occasion.

Milot Abena Pokuaa (Hasaacas Ladies)

She has scored nine goals in six games and in addition, provided nine assists in Hasaacas Ladies’ recovery and climb to the top with 22 goals.
She is the first player to have scored two hat-tricks so far in the competition this season.
She has won the NASCO Best Player of the match two times.

Doris Boaduwaa (Hasaacas Ladies)

The hitherto unknown player has shot herself to prominence with her scoring ability, and so far has eight goals in the competition and won one player of the match award.

Rahama Jafar (Northern Ladies)

She has scored six goals in six matches and goes into the records books as the first player to score in this season’s competition.
She has also won the Player of match three times.

Helena Obeng (Prisons Ladies)

She has three goals and has four assists
She has also won the Player of the match twice.
