WPL – It’s normal to be MVP – Justice Tweneboaa

Skipper of Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Justice Tweneboaa says it’s normal for her to be adjudged player of the match in their week 2 tie against Northern Ladies over the weekend.

The captain was outstanding in their 4-0 win over Northern Ladies at the Ohene Ameyaw Park over the weekend in the Women’s League.

A calm Tweneboa in an interview was brief, reacting to winning the MVP.

“I feel normal” she disclosed.

The skipper added that despite losing three key players to nurse injury, they don’t feel their absence much.

“All the players are doing well, if you watch closely, a team like Ampem Darkoa losing three key players who are starters and the expectations was that we would lose. We miss them, but not so much because the players performance was great, thanks to them”

Ampem Darkoa so far has begun the season well despite the injury blow, winning all 2 matches.

Mavis Owusu, Patience Biamah and general captain Doreen Awuah are all injured and couldn’t begin the season.

The Women’s League continues next week with exciting fixtures.
